- Josh Groves was born in West Palm Beach, FL and raised in the Santa Ynez Valley, CA. After high school, he attended Columbia University in New York City where he played NCAA football and performed his undergraduate studies in Applied Physics. Directly after college, Groves began working for Raytheon Company in Goleta, California. As a project manager in the civil space division, Groves oversaw the design and implementation of on-board calibration systems for earth-orbiting sensors. After his four years with Raytheon, he took a position in building automation system development with Breen Automation Systems in Solvang, CA, where he acted as Operations Manager. During his three years with Breen, Groves worked on some of the most high profile residential projects in the US, supervising the creation of custom software and electro-mechanical systems. In October of 2008, Groves left Breen to work full time for jobtrio.com. He presently resides in Carpinteria, California and spends his spare time hiking, surfing, and writing music.
